At Kalabash Events we create safe ecological spaces where school children and adults can reconnect with self and nature. Over the last six years Kalabash hosted several successful events in the Bettys Bay area.
Especially now, it is more important than ever before to create events where children can be children again in safe natural environments.

the man with the vision and the big heart
Paul is the founder of Kalabash Events. As a Military veteran , instructor, trainer, specialized dog handler / trainer and primitive survival skills coach Paul has a lot to offer both children and adults in terms of life skills. He has a deep passion to create adventure filled events for children that allows them to express themselves whilst having fun and learning life skills from staff and mentors with specialized training and experience. This is what sets Kalabash Events in a class of its own.
Specialized teams for different events
Kalabash Events collaborates with Event coordinators, companies, corporates, specialized staff members, mentors, and coaches to provide the best possible skills transfer between staff and children. Kalabash spares no effort in ensuring that only the best qualified team members are contracted to ensure safe, highest quality events. Whether it is a primitive survival skills event or a leadership development event, Kalabash contracts with the best skilled mentors in every field to ensure highest quality mentorship.
Event Locations
Most of the Kalabash Events take place in the Overberg District, more specifically in Bettys Bay, Kleinmond, Hermanus and surrounding areas.
From time to time, special events are held in George, Mosselbay and Sedgefield areas. Events may be requested in other locations subject to the specific criteria and safety protocols and other factors that form part of Kalabash Events policies.
